Tiles are perfect for updating a floor or a wall. It's fired at higher temperatures than ceramic and has a hard-finish density that isn't susceptible to stains or moisture. Porcelain works well in high-traffic and wet areas and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

MOSAICS

Mosaic Tiles are small tiles made from stone, glass or ceramic set to create an almost infinite number of patterns and designs. They are historically popular in bathrooms and swimming pools, though due to their versatility and the wide range of colour/design options they have become popular in a variety of locations in the home. They can also be used to create a stunning piece of mosaic art or add a decorative detail to an everyday item such as a mirror.
Types vary from Glass – cost effective and available in a wide range of colours. Vitreous glass tiles are especially versatile as they can be utilised indoors or outdoors, and they are resistant to the elements as well as chemicals. They are also easily cut, making them easy to work with. Ceramic – the most common mosaic tile for practical or decorative applications in the home, commonly used on walls and floors. Ceramic is also a cost effective option due to their wide availability. Stone – very durable, though care should be taken as they are slippery when wet. With the advent of new production techniques, materials and designs there is now an often bewildering range of mosaic tiles to fit any need.
