WALLS
Tiles are perfect for updating a floor or a wall. They look great in kitchens and bathrooms, Bisazza is one of the most authoritative luxury design brands, and a world leader in the production of glass mosaics for the decoration of interiors. Choosing the right tile is tricky work; there are thousands of colors and designs to choose from. The tiles vary in type and cost. The two main types of tile are porcelain and ceramic, though different types exist in these broad categories.
Glazed tiles have a glossy, shiny appearance. Like other tiles, they come in almost every color and design. Glazed tiles typically are completely waterproof, making them ideal to use in showers and pools and any place where water might seep in. They are usually made from clay; once the clay is shaped, the glaze is applied on top and baked on.

FLOORS
According to Christopher Lowell, famed interior designer and author of The Seven Layers of Design, the floor is the first layer of design, but it's often given the last consideration. Today, however, with so many types of floor tiles available, floors are finally being given the attention they deserve and are stepping up to the design forefront. The type of tile you choose will depend upon your décor, your budget and where you want to use it.  Porcelain is a variation of ceramic tile, but much harder because it's made of porcelain clay instead of composite clays. It's fired at higher temperatures than ceramic and has a hard-finish density that isn't susceptible to stains or moisture. Porcelain works well in high-traffic and wet areas and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

MOSAICS

Mosaic Tiles are small tiles made from stone, glass or ceramic set to create an almost infinite number of patterns and designs. They are historically popular in bathrooms and swimming pools, though due to their versatility and the wide range of colour/design options they have become popular in a variety of locations in the home. They can also be used to create a stunning piece of mosaic art or add a decorative detail to an everyday item such as a mirror.
Types vary from Glass – cost effective and available in a wide range of colours. Vitreous glass tiles are especially versatile as they can be utilised indoors or outdoors, and they are resistant to the elements as well as chemicals. They are also easily cut, making them easy to work with. Ceramic – the most common mosaic tile for practical or decorative applications in the home, commonly used on walls and floors. Ceramic is also a cost effective option due to their wide availability. Stone – very durable, though care should be taken as they are slippery when wet. With the advent of new production techniques, materials and designs there is now an often bewildering range of mosaic tiles to fit any need.
